I know Joyce from Copenhagen Business School where we worked for the international office, planning an introduction week for the foreign exchange students. She is now a poet, painter and free-lance English translator, and has just published a collection of poems called Soul Touch. One of my former classmates at Copenhagen Business School. He now lives and works in Belgium. "Very shortly a few words about myself. I know Yumi from University. I live in Brussels and work in the IT industry - I work with business management software. My favourite movie is Something about Mary - because it is very funny, but also a sweet story. My favourite band is Fleetwood Mac - because it is so melodic - favourite singer Bruce Springsteen, because the lyrics are so good. My favourite book is To Kill a Mockingbird - because it is both very deep, but also a good read. It is hard for me to list a favourite quote, because there are so many, but I like this one: The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining: John F. I met Mahi in Hawaii where he had a business in Ala Moana Shopping Center. He now lives in Oregon. He is the author of several books, among others Rediscovering Our Heart. Mahi sent me one of his poems for this website:

A colleague at the post office. Matteo is an archeologist from Italy. He likes Denmark where he is working right now at Lejre Experimental Centre, a kind of open air museum. On the photo he is dressed as a hunter from the mesolithic age.

We were on the same trip to Japan, sponsered by the Japan Foundation. Nour is from Egypt, speeks Japanese and has a Danish wife. He divides his time between Egypt, Japan and Denmark.

Previously a neighbour. Paw has studied business in Florida. He is very interested in knights and has written a short story called An Unfair Choice. “The story can be transferred to my own life in a very abstract way. My auntie from Iraq whose son, Lars, I took care of when he was a little boy. She has a lot of talents including being an astonishing cook. “From childhood till high school I have been at Dominican school (Catholic School). Travelled to London to continue my education, finishing my studies at Hammer Smith College for secretary and further educations. I was back home, worked as private & general secretary at Central Bank, Drug Store, Italian company and Danish company.”

Colleague at the post office. Thea studies Spanish at the university, spent half a year in South America and would like to travel there again. Her boyfriend currently lives in Norway. She loves chocolate.

We were room mates for a short while and had a lot of fun. Ursula has a Ph.D. in Mathematics. I took this photo when I visited her in Leipzig.
